The Game

Race to Kepler is a fast-paced, combo-driven deckbuilding game. Each player starts with a unique City-ship with different passive and active effects, players then acquire Crew (cards) at the market, which help to power their ships to Kepler.

The game features a unique push-your-luck bidding mechanic to acquire the most powerful cards, the Titans, and is balanced so every City, Class, and Titan has interesting synergies making for creativity and long term replayability. Pick your City, recruit your crew, command powerful Titans, and be the first to colonize humanity's new home in this Euro-style deckbuilder.

How do you play Race to Kepler?

Play Crew cards from four specialized departments to create powerful combos, hire new Crew and generate energy for powering your City-ship. Energy fuels your city-ship's unique powers and traits, and propels your Race to Kepler.

As you race through space, you'll encounter Titans, which are powerful cards that can only be won in a bidding war. These powerful cards create intense risk-reward decisions, do you sacrifice cards from your hand to prove your worthiness to these mechanical guardians of lost Earth creatures?

Gameplay Designed for Asymetry and Replayability

The game is designed to work well at two to four players. At two players it's a tight fight of bluffing and strategy, while at four the focus is a little more engine building and searching for great card combinations.

Your choice of City-ship shapes your strategy through unique traits and operations, but never railroads you into a single playstyle. The 20 asymmetric cities offer play simple enough for beginners, with advanced cities offering crunchy new strategic puzzles, all balanced to play together.

The World of Kepler

CITIES

Humanity's Last Hope

When the waters rose and the air turned poisonous, humanity rose to the challenge. The 20 most populous cities of Earth lifted themselves into the air. These are the last monuments of human civilization, each hurtling toward a distant promise of renewal.

Each city-ship has different passive and active abilities. These abilities unlock new synergies and strategies, and with fifteen different cities to choose from, no two games will play the same.

TITANS

Mighty Synthetic Beings

Prior to the exodus from Earth, humanity lost all its animals to rampant disease. But their DNA survived. And as our technology evolved into something approaching consciousness, we built colossal guardians in the image of the creatures that had become myth.

Each unique Titan carries with it epic, game-changing abilities. But in order to add them to your deck you'll have to win their favor by demonstrating your crew's worth.
